1. Controller settings
- Vibration Adjustment: Adjust the vibration intensity of your controllers to your preferred level.
- Simulate Index Controller: Enable this feature to emulate Index controller input.
- Gesture Controller Simulation: Enable this feature to use hand tracking for controller-free interaction.
- Controller-Free Mode: Control the Pimax Play interface using the buttons on your headset without a controller. This is especially useful for flight simulation and other seated VR experiences.

2. Location settings
- Indoor Lighting Frequency: Select the lighting frequency that matches your environment to help improve tracking stability.
- Safety Zone: Set a safe play area and receive a warning when you approach or move beyond its boundaries.
- Recline Mode: Adjust the tracking orientation for a more comfortable VR experience while lying down or reclining.
- Motion Compensation: Compensate for the movement of a motion platform or simulator by using a controller mounted to the platform as a tracking reference, helping maintain a more stable VR experience.

- IPD Adjustment: Adjust the distance between the lenses to match your interpupillary distance (IPD) for a clearer and more comfortable viewing experience.
- Eye Tracking: Enable eye tracking for supported VR applications and features. For VRChat, enable Eye Tracking Data OSC Transmission to transmit eye-tracking data via OSC.
- Wear Position Reminder: Receive reminders to adjust your headset when it is not positioned correctly.

- Brightness: Adjust the brightness of your headset display to your preferred level.
- Refresh Rate: Choose how many times the headset display refreshes per second. A higher refresh rate provides smoother motion but requires more PC performance.

General settings
- Headset Sleep: Set how long the headset can remain idle before the display turns off. Available options are 20 seconds, 1 minute, 3 minutes, 5 minutes, and 20 minutes.
- Quick Passthrough Mode: Double-tap the side of the headset to quickly switch between VR and the real world.
- Perspective Hotkey: Set a keyboard shortcut to quickly switch between VR and the real world.
Image/Performance
1. Rendering

Image Quality: Adjust the rendering quality to balance visual clarity and performance. Higher image quality requires more GPU performance.
- Automatic: Automatically selects a suitable image quality based on your PC configuration.
- Low: Prioritizes smoother performance with slightly lower image quality. Recommended for less powerful PCs.
- Medium: Provides a balance between image quality and performance.
- High: Prioritizes sharper and clearer visuals, but requires more GPU performance. Recommended for high-end PCs.
- Custom: Manually adjust the image quality using the slider.
- Overlay Render Factor: Adjust the rendering factor for overlays to balance visual quality and performance.
- Quad Views Advanced Rendering: Quad Views is an advanced rendering technology that allocates more rendering resources to the area you are looking at while reducing the rendering quality in your peripheral vision. This helps maintain high image clarity where it matters most while reducing the overall GPU workload, potentially improving VR performance and frame rates. This feature is available in games that support Quad Views.
- Output Resolution: When Quad Views Advanced Rendering is enabled, you can adjust the output resolution to further balance image quality and performance. A higher resolution provides sharper visuals but requires more GPU performance, while a lower resolution can improve performance at the cost of some image clarity.

- GPU Upscaling: Improve VR performance by upscaling a lower-resolution image, with a slight trade-off in image quality.
- Sharpness: Enhance image clarity without significantly increasing rendering performance requirements. Sharpness cannot be used together with GPU Upscaling.
2. Frame rate
- Smart Smoothing: Generate intermediate frames to help reduce stuttering and provide a smoother VR experience when your PC cannot maintain the headset's native frame rate.
- Lock Frame Rate to Half Refresh Rate: Lock the application frame rate to half of the headset's refresh rate to maintain a more consistent experience when your PC cannot reach the full refresh rate.

- Create individual Image / Performance settings for specific games and applications.

- FOV: Crop the Field of View (FOV) to reduce the amount of the image that needs to be rendered, which can improve frame rates. Customize the FOV range based on your performance needs.

- IPD Horizontal Offset: Adjust the horizontal image position to fine-tune the display alignment for your eyes.

- Image Vertical Offset: Adjust the vertical image position to fine-tune display alignment and viewing comfort.
